We all know that Tamale is a volatile situation when it comes to religion and politics. Such situations demand tact and diplomacy which the police have been trained for. Indeed you have done well by putting those pieces of words together but the idea behind those words are rather full of negativity and at a point calling for war that was unfortunate thing for a person like you to do. You need to get lost. The police study law and know how to diplomatically handle issues. What is the use of the CID. Do you think the police do not know how to work on National Security? They are closer to the people and know them better and who to speak to. Okay, you can send even soldiers there. This is a religious issue and has to be handle with care or things will get out of hand. Have you lived in Tamale before? A little spark can spark violence. The police know who matters most in the community. BNI comes in when National Security, especially external ones come in. Let us leave the police to do their work. When they are overwhelmed, they do not usually call the BNI but the military. If there is community violence, what can BNI do? It is the police and military that are called. The BNI was just called to terrorize the workers. A job that the CID can do with wisdom.

Akua, the main job of the BNI is like the CIA and KGB. It is very much concerned with external attacks. However in Ghana, people even use them to threaten people to collect debts. I have a bunch of friends who worked in the BNI whose other duty is to provide security for the Prez at all times. Going to radio station should be done by the CID or the Ghana police. The army does not come in unless invited by the police . Make your research and see. If the BNI goes to the radio station and things get out of hand, is it then that they call in the police? It is the police that call them for help in such matters. Ask any security expert about what I am saying. Even if the BNI needs to arrest someone for security reason, they first seek clearance from the police. Just find out.

This is a job that should be handled by the CID. If they are hate speeches, the CID have means of getting him committed and legally arresting him. No need fro BNI at this time.
