NPP goes into opposition when the grassroots of the party become discontent with it. The government must pay particular attention to the views of the supporters of the party than singing in chorus, rule of law and certificates before employment. Ghanaians are now discerning enough. Don't take the foot soldiers for granted.

I would request the NPP Leaders to take the message from Mr. Ken Agyapong very serious. I do not think that Mr. Ken Agyapong is threatening but he is rather telling the truth which is hard for some NPP people to accept. As they are aware, politics in a democracy is a constant fight in which the Politicians have to work hard in order to maintain their power, and at the same time, abide by the constitution to serve all the people. BUT also at the same time, they must never FORGET their Power Base. The people who brought the Party to power must never be forgotten because without their services and sacrifices, the Party would still remain in the opposition.These people are not only in Accra but also in the Rural Areas. Please note that these same people will be needed in the next election which is just around the corner. Irrespective of NANA being the President of all Ghanaians, he must never forget his own and his Party´s POWER BASE. The Party must give jobs to those who brought them to power so that they can console themselves that they have not sacrificed for nothing. There are many jobs which do not require Certificates even here in Europe especially in Germany. NPP must realize that those whom they are prefering to give contracts and jobs to, were the same people who opposed and prevented the Party from coming to power. These people have their own political Affiliations and that is where their heart lies. They will never vote for NPP no matter what the Party does for them.NPP must bear in mind that if NDC is able to come to power again, they will manipulate the Elections in such a way so as to keep NPP in the opposition for a long time.Therefore, my candid advice to NPP is to avoid taking praises from the wrong side because there are sinister motives behind such praises. Please just observe what Mr. Trump is doing in America. He is always going to those who voted for him because he has rightly concluded that those who did not vote him will never do so, even if he gives them MILK AND HONEY.

Spot on ben/benjust; You've discerned the truth and had laid it bare. True patriots are selfless and it looks like Honourable Ken's patriotism is linked to 'kickbacks'. Ken, any attempt to drag the feet or put 'clamps on the wheel' of the government will fail and you will find yourself in a miserable isolation. A government that takes the path of the rule of 'winner takes all' never strives. Akuffo Addo is gradually working on and building an inclusive government to make sure every Ghanaian, irrespective of party affiliations, become part of the national building; something Ghana missed dearly in the last government. Yes, it is very true any government will put in place his people at the most sensitive positions but to take away the daily bread of some cleaners simply because they belong to an opposition party is just injustice. You rather work to win the hands of the electorates in the opposition and the floating ones, but not to prejudice them. Nana Addo government is rather on the right path to open more job opportunities, and of course, not by the hand of a 'MAGIC WAND' but through a stable process of implementation. KEN MUST HOLD HIS VITUPERATION AS YOU SAID. THAT IS CHILDISH.

Ken has selfish interests in doing politics. He thinks he is not getting enough from investing in the party; and so is peeved.
He is prepared to undermine the govt if he does not get the juicy contracts he feels entitled to.
