And since Mr Benjamin came to Ghana from Chile it means the wife can't qualify to be British and hence will need a resident permit to come and live with Benjamin when he leaves Ghana.

He deserves commendation. we may hate him because he has dared to question the culture of corruption in Ghana but he has made us sit up and think about how we are systematically contributing to destroying our own country. In the era of fake news and political infatuation, it is a breath of fresh air to have a credible voice such as Jon Benjamin's.
We are running ourselves into a very large ditch and we are quick to chastise those who are pointing the ditch out to us so that we may take evasion action.

Ben I know not every body will be able to certify and qualify for uk visa but I think k we can separate the cost of administration fees from final insurance of the visa. You cannot charge the same fee with the one who have been refuse and one who have been issued. On this note You have treated people fairly, I wish your wife can be refuse Ghanaian visa several times, you will appreciate what I am saying. Just image. What goes on psychologically in the kingdom those your office refuse visas? I am not saying everybody must be issued with visas but I think your fee is too much and s9mehow can be broken down like admin cost, cost of forms and final insurance cost rather than collect all in bulk Sir

Visa fees are either Standard or Reciprocal. The figure needs to be verified, as no one believes that the wife of a British Diplomat should pay 2000 pounds sterling for a Permanent Visa to live in the UK with her husband.
