We have applied for meters for the past seven months and we are still not getting it. How can this be in a country we proclaim to be the gate way to Africa. Ghana Telecom workers thought they were hoarding sim cards for their personal gains but what happened later? The company has to be sold for their incompentences. ECG watch out. You are next to go. Can't wait to wave you bye bye.

I urgently urge the Minister to walk the talk and take serious action on this issue because this illegality is being perpetrated by the ECG under the guise of shortage of these meters.

It's when you apply for meter that you're told there are no meters but when you get a staff, especially the field staff, they will get one for you in just a week at a very high fee. Mr minister, we also know the problems, just get the system sanitized because many of us are still in need of meters.

He knows the Tot at ECG. We even buy electric poles too for lights to be extended into our newly built houses. He should come and defend this one too, it is a disgrace to be a Ghanaian.

He supplied the poles after I paid for the poles. ECG erected these poles and claimed them as theirs later. You see the level of corruption in Ghana?

Charging customers for use of ECG meters is the least of the problems plaguing the service company. The real issue has to do with the quality of meters that are ordered for the company. Between 2008 to April 2017, ECG have had to replace five meters of different makes and shapes in my residence. Which means, one meter do not last more than two years of service. The obviously sub standard meters and the frequency of purchases, add to the cost build up of the company. This obviously results in increased tariffs. This area among others, will be of interest to the minster of energy.
