  Yes you are right sir. The vote for DCEs shall transform grassroots politics and local development by making them accountable and beholden to the local communities. I can't wait to see this happen. The guidelines should be out by now on how local government shall relate with central government so that we minimise conflict between the two when the mayor comes from a different party to government.

  AND HERE THE CITIES, MUNICIPAL AND TOWNS WILL HAVE THE OPPPORTUNITY TO EELECT THEIR OWN NON PARTISAN COUNCILLORS,AND ELECT THEIR OWN MAYOR FOR THE RUNNING OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS IN THEIR CITIES AND REGIONAL CENTRES.
  
  THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE DEPARTING BRITISH COLONIAL ADMINISTRATION LEFT TO US IN 1957,AND TO BE DESTROYED BY THE SO CALLED ILLEGAL MILITARY TAKE OVERS IN THE COUNTRY.

  THE GVERNMENT THEN A PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OFFICER TO SEE TO THE SMOOTH RUNNING OF THESE INSTITUTIONS.
  
  TIME TO ACT NOW FOR THE REVIVAL OF THE LOCAL ADMINSTRATION IN THE COUNTRY,
