  You are also human. Nothing stops you from volunteering to go and retrieve the bodies. You sit on radio to talk as if it is easy. You can organize your like-minded critics to bring the bodies out from the dangerous pit.

  Mr. Mornah, what a load of trash is this coming from you. You need to be alive to realities. The Mexico incident was not in a galamsey makeshift pit but in a properly constructed shaft. Given the circumstances, there was a real risk of further casualties if people were sent down into that pit. Would you rather your brother was sent down to add to the mortalities. Didn't you read that there was a strong stench emanating from the pit indicating that dead bodies were decomposing in there? Human lives have been lost so we all sympathise with the families but this was a clearly avoidable tragedy and people need to measure risk before they do these kind of things.

Those justifying the end to the rescue effort should realise that if they happen to be in a similar situation some day the same will be done to them on the basis that they are nobodies.
