  If you really knew what you were saying, you wouldn't say this. Effect of the 2 most recently played friendlies has not been taken into account yet.

  I was surprised that in the absence of a recognised Right Full Back, the same tactics of a Back 4 was used in the match against the US. One would have expected a Back 3 and two wing backs. Maybe next time in addition to trying out the players in friendly matches, try changing tactics as well. In my opinion we conceded the first goal because the Right Full Back at that time the first goal was scored against us, was a Central Defender and he was not pushing forward enough on the wings; resulting in the Right Winger tracking all the way back too often. A Wing Back would have helped a lot in that match. All I'm saying is that tactic changes could also be considered in response to available personnel. The foreign players do it in their clubs so it shouldn't be that difficult to implement.

  How about if the coach was trying to find a backup right fullback out of the personnel he had? Only a few coaches successfully flip between 4 and 3 backs. Coach Appiah plays 4 backs so that's what he tried to find work on and ...

Talk well, you are toying with our hearts. By the way, what is your FIFA standings after your matches. Ask Akwasi Appiah what he said about FIFA rankings before he played those matches.

  Brainless , who told you that friendlies Matches is only for trying but not for result.A good Coaches would Win such games to back their Teams and that is good.Only brainless Coach like you guys would claim that way.

  The main idea behind my comment was changing "Tactics" in every area of the field and not in a particular position. For this match it was glaringly clear that Wing Backs would have performed a lot better and therefore that's the reason why I highlighted that "Tactic". I do not believe that coaches use 90 minute matches to find replacements or back-ups for positions being that coaches usually work with players for days in training sessions before bringing them to the field for a match. Similarly if in another match there is only one "recognisable" striker I would again be surprised if we play with 2 upfront by trying to convert for example a Central Defender to a Striker with the excuse that we are trying to find a back-up striker. In this scenario the conventional thing to do would be just play with that one striker and move an attacking mid-fielder slightly upfield. Now talikng about being ahead of myself. I hope you meant that as a compliment :) You see in the 60's when the Black Stars were dominating Africa they were way ahead of most countries in Africa in footballing terms. However we let them catch up with us and now it is a little difficult for us to win the AFCON. If we want to return to the winning ways of those years it is imperative that we find ways to remain ahead of the other countries. Trying to use a friendly match to find a back-up for a position might not be the smartest way to remain ahead.
