  When you classify your Association as Private Nurses, the MOH and by extension the government will see you as Private. Say you are Ghanaian Nurses or RNs or RCNs. Private is strictly private. View yourselves as Ghanaians. Negotiate, get a lobby conduit to speak on your behalf to get jobs not in government only but places like UK, Canada and the like. Best wishes fellow Ghanaian nurses.

If you claim private nurses belong to private hospitals then why dont you tell the bonded nurses to stop working in those institutions and leave it for "private nurses".

  I just cannot fanthom how stupid some Ghanaians can be.You attend a private nursing school and you expect to be automatically employed by the government in government hospitals.What sort of daftness is this?IT WILL NOT BE IN THE INTEREST OF THE SAFETY OF PATIENTS TO LET PRIVATE TRAINED NURSES TO WORK IN GOVERNMET HOSPITALS.ARE THEY TRAINED TO THE STANDARD REQUIRED BY THE GOVERNMENT?These private nursing schools are just like the private universities which are churning out substandard graduates.Those privately trained nurses who want to be employed by the government should be reassessed for their suitability.Or they will be killers rather than 'savers' of lives.

  Sometimes when I see these jobless nurses in their usual picket rantings I see stupidity. Never seen such stupid human beings before. Anyway I hope they've leant their lessons.
