You guys to travel and see, after graduating from school, u have to fill 100's of applications for job. No nobody goes to the gov't and ask him to find a job for them. This is typically stupid and nonsense.

Our system is not like yours, and beside where in the constitution did they say private nurses should work in the private hospital. Without the government posting there is no government hospital that will employed you not like those accountant and others you can just send your application and appointment will be given to you. Before you open that your gutter mouth to say anything investigate and know better.

To start with, private schools in ghana are not independent, they are under the public universities in ghana who regulate everything done including their exams, grading systems and issuing of certificates. Nursing particularly has more supervision by the nurses and Midwives counsel to ensure the right things are done... moving away from the schools, no matter which school a person graduates from, nurses are obliged to take a license exams. It's the same questions and conditions for everyone not withstanding where you school, after the exam, those who passed are made to under a one year mandatory national service under a recognized hospital so they can gain all round knowledge on all aspects of health.( you can get the breakdown of the results from the nurses and Midwives counsel and u would bow in shame when u compare the results btn private trained and government trained or maybe go to the various hospitals and compare mare their performances).. with all this, there can be nothing like a sub standard nursing school nor a substandard "private nurse".
Moving away from that, there is no law in ghana that states that private trained nurses should work in private hosp while government trained nurses work in government hospitals. We have private trained accountants, managers etc working in public sectors so why should nursing be different? Don't we even have foreign trained doctors working in the government sector ??
These are grieving nurses, if you can't be nice, at least state facts as u criticize them.
