  But the president did cover alternative livelihood programs for galamsey operators. As this is brilliant to think about as part of a holistic approach which usually we are challenged as a country when it comes to the way we think through programs, the discussion at this point should be focused and generate ideas around the alternative livelihood interventions.
  
  I hope at this point we have been educated well enough to discern the difference between small scale mining and galamsey (illegal mining)?
