Leif Silbersky is, indeed, a very prominent and brilliant lawyer known to take on the most controversial and difficult cases. He is a high profile lawyer. I am surprised he's taking on this case. He must be on retirement now and just wants something to do. I don't think Bonsu's contract money from Gefle can pay this guy. He must be doing it for free. And Bonsu can count himself lucky to have Leif in his corner.

If he really did not commit rape, then Leif is the man to get him out. In fact, even if he committed the offense, Leif can still prove that he didn't do it. The case sounds a bit suspicious, though, even if Swedish rape laws are strict and the women are given lots of protection. But wife abuse is also one of the charges which makes the case even more serious if true.

Anyway Gefle is languishing at the bottom of the Swedish second division (called Superettan) which is nationwide. Bonsu has clearly not played for any of the major clubs in the country so he may not be a big player earning huge salaries. Has he ever played for any of our national teams?

This story has been running for some weeks now and strangely enough there's no information or support from the Ghana embassy in Sweden or nearby Denmark, or the ministry of foreign affairs in Ghana.
