  It was out of pride that Dr Mahama refused the offer of Vice President from President Kuffuor. He never consulted with the Party. He wondered how he could be a vice president to Kuffuor when he should have been the substantive President. In fact Dr Mahams felt in his arrogance that it was a demotion and a humiliation to be Kuffuor's vice.

  The likes of benard Mornah should give Ghanaians a break with their selfishness,greed and hypocrisy. Were we not in Ghana when the ndc through one of financiers bought him a pick up to defeat an honorable man like All ban Badgin? Did he consult his party before taking it. What was the meeting he had with the NFC before agreeing to disgrace himself? Is Dr Mahama not a Ghanaian and can work for Ghana? When the President appoints his party members, it is winner takes all, when he appoints others he has demoted them. OH GHANA POLITICS. NA GOD OOO.

  I have never taken PNC under Dr Edward Mahama seriously anyway. He is ideologically confused. It is the lack of ideology in the leader of PNC that made the likes of Ambrose Dery decamp to join the NPP. Dr Mahama has done untold damage to the PNC by occupying the leadership position for several years and blocking attempts by PNC members from managing the party in line with its true ideological tradition. What a sell out. Dr Edward has always been interested in a job and he is completely spineless. The reason he did not accept an appointment from JJ Rawlings has nothing to do with his ideology. He did not accept a job from JJ for fear of offending the Dr Limmann family. He could not have accepted a job from President Kuffour because PNC had representation in parliament which he worked hard to wipe out. Dr Edward Mahama should be dishonourably sacked irrevocably from the PNC for the untold damage he has done to the party during the years that he has been a wedge in the fortunes of the PNC party. Benard Monarh and co have had a hard time keeping the PNC alive against the sabotaging activities of Dr Edward Mahama whose actions/inactions worked against the very survival of the PNC. The Limann family have kept away because they have all along believe Dr Edward Mahama is a fake, a hypocrite and therefore had no confidence in his leadership or the lack of it.
  
  I think the PNC should greet this appointment with jubilation. President Akufo Addo has done a great service to the PNC by getting rid of vacuum in the leadership of the PNC. The riddance of Dr Edward Mahama will give the PNC a new lease of life.
  
  It would have been completely unfathomable to imagine Dr Kwesi Ndoum, former President John Dramani Mahama, or the leaders of the other serious party leaders accepting ambassadorial positions from the NPP. Dr Edward Mahama has cheapened himself indeed and should be expelled from the PNC with immediate effect. Good riddance! He was a waste of space anyway.
