The root of corruption is low wages.
Cost of living must be the base to calculate minimum wage. Based on what I know about Ghana's economy, the minimum wage in Ghana should between 15-25 cedis a day.

Cost of living must be the base to calculate minimum wage. Based on what I know about Ghana's economy, the minimum wage in Ghana should between 15-25 cedis a day.
I think minimum wage should vary between Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and
small towns. Laborers in small towns do not travel with trotro to work, rent in Accra is vast different from rent in small towns.
A lot must be debated and considered into the equation to set the minimum wage.

So all this while the minimum wage I'm Ghana is not up to Gh10.00 a day? What a shame, how can a citizen work for a whole day for gh8.80p. Eeeiiiii What is this, Politicians how much do you receive per sitting.

minimum wage is GHc9.8
liter of fuel is GHc 4.1

and the same person is paying GHc 50 for only electricity a month
breakfast, lunch, and super is not included jus ...

breakfast, lunch, and super is not included just calculate how much it left over for a minimum wage worker in this country which is around GHc 260 a month ?
The economical figures as compared to the wages in this country is not adding up.
These are the reasons we in Ghana should not compare fuel price and electricity tariffs to an European or American who is earning more than double than this in an hour .
base on this those voodooo economics like Bawumia who always compared apple and mangoes in the same basket should desist from that and cap every tariff in accordiance with this minimum wage.

electricity tariff , telcos tariff, fuel pricing, are all abnormally escalated which must be reversed as a matter of urgent if we want to build a sound economy

that is for the whole 8 working hours in a day and from monday to friday
so if you take only the sunday out we have about 25 or 26 working days in a month , that means even if it is GHc 10 a day you have GHC 250 or GHC ...

the annual minimum wage of a ghanaian worker is GHc 3,120 (31million 200 old Ghana cedis)

then you ask yourself how much do you paid monthly for electricity alone Ghc 50 ( 500 0000 old cedis)
per annum is GHc 600 ( 6million old cedis ) dont forget the price of fuel per liter GHC 4.1

Hello,ndc are now the armed robbers in town. If you see an armed robber you've seen an ndc nation wrecker,enemy of the nation and anti-Ghana fools fire them. The police must be ready to combat these ndc footsoldiers in armed robbery to make the country unsafe and if possible the army must help in fighting these enemies. Ghana must work again and Ghana can't survive with these evils living with good people.
