  the problem is the lack of prison places, where people sleep in shifts, this is a form of abuse, sleep deprevation.

  Until we stop calling it prison or prisoners. It's a correctional centres. The word prison is inhumane. In correctional centres the offenders are corrected and integrated when released into their various communities. Again, c ...

  Until we stop calling it prison or prisoners. It's a correctional centres. The word prison is inhumane. In correctional centres the offenders are corrected and integrated when released into their various communities. Again, community sentences another way forward. Introduce farms and let minor offender work rather than sentences.

  These two institutions were completely ignored by Kuffour, Attah Mills and Mahama's Govt hence why these institutions are still pending for serious investment for an annual maintenance of uplift and to upgrade facilities and quality of service delivery in the mentioned organisation throughtout the country. Dr Akwasi Osei lamented to former President Mahama but he was busy signing off contract for the delivery of the 58 4 by 4 for MP's and Party officials instead.

  10 years for petty theft and zero conviction for stealing thousands of state funds and misappropriation of state assets is not only very uncivilised but also discriminatory. The judicial system also needs big shake up beginning with unfair sentencing of the poorest in society
