I can only pity those defending this empty so-called financial analyst who seems to have lost his way. Such empty barrels only make noise because they have no responsibilities. Just give this man an appointment and you will see how much he will mess everything. Surely, the call by Ras Mubarak is in the right direction. If parliamentarians want the people to respect them and their institution, they will first have to change their ways. They should start being more patriotic and less self-centred for a change. For example, how many of them wake up in the morning and start worrying about the village kids going to school under trees, or about the poor folks in their rural constituencies who have to walk long distances in the bush to fetch drinking water because of the lack of running water in their communities? The people expect them to help make their living conditions better, and for the most part the people are not seeing that.
