Nothing seems to be working in the country. People don't respect other people's right and privacy. People careless when others are suffering but rather interested in advertising it.

Driving at night is very dangerous if a car in front of you slows down with the break lights not working

The police are also at fault and always will be, if they ignore and take BRIBES from careless/reckless drivers who are caught in the act with overloaded trucks and cars on OUR ROADS, over speeding on OUR ROADS, scrap-yard cars on OUR ROADS, okada riding on pavements and through red lights in the presence of the police, people crossing highways, children selling on highways, driving with faulty lights in the day and at night ON OUR ROADS daily!!!!!!

WHO IS THEN TO BE BLAMED FOR NOT IMPLEMENTING THE LAW TO GET ALL THIS NONSENSE OFF OUR ROADS? IS IT NOT THE POLICE?

DO WE LIVE IN THE JUNGLE???? GHANAIANS?????

If the police IMPLEMENT the LAWS of our land to the letter and stop taking daily BRIBES from such drivers, WE WILL not BE HAVING ACCIDENTS ON OUR ROADS!!!! PERIOD!!

Whether the other truck with no tail-lights, fully overloaded was in motion or not? Is neither here nor there!!!

Stupidity on all fronts in our nation is beyond belief.....overloaded trucks and cars, over speeding, scrap-yard cars, okada riding on pavements, people crossing highways, children selling on highways, driving with faulty lights in the night etc., etc. on our roads!!!!!! Police BRIBERY and CORRUPTION is the order of the day! DO WE LIVE IN THE JUNGLE???? GHANAIANS?????

WHO IS SUPPOSED TO IMPLEMENT THE LAWS TO STOP THIS MADNESS!!!! ENOUGH OF THE JUNGLE LIVING OF LAWLESSNESS AND DISORDER??????

Yes! The police cannot be everywhere.....does that mean that those stationed around on the roads and the police riders should take bribes and ignore the reckless drivers and their scrap vehicles????

Many trucks are having defect lights including police buses but they still operate in the night and are even able to pass through police barriers. So our security officers need to do the right thing by checking these trucks and their own.

WHY? Check the load the truck was carrying, the weight would considerably reduce the speed of the truck! Whose duty to check the AXLE LOAD?
The excessive smoke coming out of the exhaust of the truck definitely blocked visibility, and in the night!Vehicle ROAD WORTHY?
I don't know the policemen at the various barriers on Accra-Kumasi stretch were "dozing" or had wet palms!
Because of "moral defect" this truck wasn't detained, but was allowed to "plod" along like tortoise!

The driver is careless? Isn't it too early? And why blame the poor driver now? If a car is in motion, is the tail light working, or is there a reflector on the back of the truck. Driving at night with all those things helps the incoming cars to see if there is anything ahead. If there is nothing like that why would one blame him for careless driving. I think the police must do their homework before coming out. So Mr commander come again.
