His senior Brother and former Black Star goalkeeper, Richard Kingston grew up in Teshie, whereas Laryea Kingston grew up in Accra. Due to the popularity of Bukom among the Ga suburbs, many prominent people from Ga Mashi, even if they are from James Town, Abola, Gbese,Akumaje, Sempe etc are said to be from Bukom. Bukom is a very small which more or less falls under the As3r3 quarter. There are seven (7) quarters of Ga Mashi so all indigenes of of Ga Mashi cannot comes from Bukom.

It is a normal phenomenon in Africa where the poverty level is so high and compounded by our extended family system. The jobs are not there and those who are fortunate must just help the unfortunate or else they die from simple sicknesses or hunger . It is normal, more people rely on these handover, small small begging, on Sundays in Church the phenomenon strives. This condition creates the arm robberies, pick pockets to small small thievery in our midst. In Africa one can wake up the whole day just imagining where or how the immediate meal would come from. The ladies fall into prostitution so easily as it most started by some people to take advantage for favour in exchange for sex deals. In fact, we would need to share to save others , our political landscape is nothing to write home about.
