Unless you are caught on the border crossings (even those undocumented illegals are detained in federal holding centers in Texas, Arizona, Nevada and California, are processed with expedite immigration court and that can't happen without paperwork). For those illegals immigrant that are documented (those who come with visa through the ports and then their stays expires) the gov, in order to deport them must take them through a deportation court. Some can even take more than 5yrs if you have a good lawyer to stay the proceeding and try to legalize your stay by getting married to an American citizen. In every instance that they take you to court, offcourse they will have to serve you court order and other Paperworks so stop talking about stuffs you don't know. I have a friend that I lived here in Grand Prairie, Texas who was deported because his married a citizen was determined to be a sham (which is even criminal) but it took the depeartment of home land security more than 4 yrs for the court to rule for deportation. All this while he was working with his temporal work permit.

Kev you're a downright fool. The laws of every country must be respected. Those Nigerians who are involved in illegal activities will soon be deported. I think Kev is one of them.

Dery has a serious case to answer. The Indian's lawyers should be very firm on this matter to have the expatriate's work/stay permit restored to him for his return to Ghana to take possession of his business and operate without hindrance. How can Dery elect himself to be both a judge and executioner of the law? The npp gov't under Nana Addo should right this wrong, is it an attempt by unseen faces to steal the Indian's business? So it seems to me. This action by Dery is rather not conducive to public order and attraction of investments into Ghana.
