Instead of shooting off your mouth without thinking, Bismarck, why don't you conduct a serious survey of the communities in your district to find out what the majority cash crop in the area is since most are small time farmers with a few desperate fishermen? It is after your research has given you enough data that you can either convince farmers to start anew on some other cash crop or continue with current crops? Remember that under the wonderful one district one factory white elephant of a scheme you will need locally supplied raw materials/farm products or fish to sustain your one and only factory. You may want to use your party money and government money wisely if you intended to help the people in Gomoa and not the party masters or yourself.

ABEEKU NENSAH, WHAT KIND OF RESEARCH DATA ARE YOU TALKING ÁBOUT,

ARE THE CAUSES OF ECONOMIC BACKWARDNESS, UNDERDEVEKOPMENT AND EXTREME POVERTY NOT KNOWN IN THE COUNTRY AND FOR THE SO CALLED EDUCATED WITH BIG DEGREES AND PHD TITLES TO USE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY TO CREATE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TO ALLEVIATE EXTREME POVERTY IN THE COUBTRY.

DO SEMI-LITERATES NEED RESEARCH BEFORE THEY ARE ABLE TO CREATE A SOUND ECONOMIC GROWTH.

THE SO CALLED DISTRICT CHIEF IN GOMOA-WEST BY RAISING SUCH AN IRRATIONAL APPEAL TO THE PEOPLE IN THE AREA SHOULD HAVE SIGNALED TO YOU,HE WAS DISQUALIFIED MAN TO BE PLACED AT SUCH A POSITION IN GHANA.

IS YOUR SUGGESTION NOT A JUMP TO ANOTHER WASTE OF STATE FUNDS.

WITH THESE CROP OF MINDS, BELIEVE IT OR NOT,THE COUNTRY IS STILL DOOMED TO HELL FOR THE NEXT HUNDRED YEARS.
