Ghanaians have been indifferent to the quality of public works for years. We lose a lot of money by repairing shoddily - executed government projects.
It is time to call a halt to the collusion and unprofessionalism of the supervising agencies.
The Opeikuma link road which was constructed less than a year ago is rapidly deteriorating and yet Ghanian engineers vouched for the quality of the road.
The wanton wastage would not cease until the sector minister deals ruthlessly with the unpatriotic state employees who badly let us down. What about putting them in jail or surcharge ng them.
The incumbent administration should restrict the award of contracts to contractors with great track records and clearly demonstrable capacity to undertake solid jobs.
I do not see the problem of ministers performing their duties as required by the state.
