Dr. Dsane Selby was my doctor when I was a baby. He used to have his practice at Asafo (Kumasi) near the AME Zion school. I can still remember when he gave me quinine to battle malaria in the early 1960s.

Dr. Dsane Selby was my doctor when I was a baby. He used to have his practice at Asafo (Kumasi) near the AME Zion school. I can still remember when he gave me quinine to battle malaria in the early 1960s.

Here was a life well lived serving thousands of his countrymen. Wow how far back. Dr. Selby was already practicing before I was born and I am now in my early sixties. So I will presume he was in his nineties, at least, when he died. May the good Lord grant his faithful servant a well deserving rest. My condolences to the bereaved families and the NPP party. RIP doc.

As a faithful member of the Danqua Busia Dombo tradition, He served as ambassador to France under PM Busia and ambassador to Italy under President Kufuor.

A humble, hadsome and perfect gentleman he was.

My deepest condolences to his family. May God strengthen them as they go through this difficult period.
