They (NDC) knows the evil they did to this nation and will do everything they can to stop it from being passed but "na lie", it will surely pass. They cannot do anything to change the will of the people since majority of Ghanaians want it to be passed so that the evil the NDC took Ghanaians through it will be revealed. That is more of the reason why Ghanaians rejected them and kicked them out of power and Ghanaians wants to see their back; and the only way forward is for the bill to be passed. They will be jailed one after the other when they are found guilty with all the corruption that destroyed the economy of the nation, so let them get ready. They can run but they cannot hide.

The President and his cabinet as well as his party- the NPP,the majority- should have done it's home work way in advance of this legislation being placed before Parliament.

That legislative aide to the President, as part of his/her functions, should know" how to count", i.e to know how many MP's are on board, who is leaning for or against,and in a worst case scenario, who is set against it, regardless.
It's only after having such knowledge at hand that the proverbial horse- trading comes into play.
When successful,then it's incumbent upon the aide to corral a sponsor(s)- from the majority party, and in the best case scenario, a co-sponsor(s) from the opposition legislatures.

Folks,the narrative above is how legislation gets done and ultimately becomes law.

Without that home work it's all smoke and mirrors.

It's coming to stay forever. Any new government will use it positively or otherwise in terms of vindictiveness and retaliation as and when it suits whoever is in charge. I'm for it,but it must done well so that we don't find challenges with it during its application.
If any of your relations was in government or occupied public office, or is in government now just don't be too happy. Just pray they performed/perform their duties diligently without any shred of corruption or doubt.
