It is not in the best interest of presidential staffers, ministers and those closer to the executive to comment on this matter as that could prejudice the case. It is the president who will make the final decision and if presidential staffer is publicly commenting that the EC is guilty, then where is the fairness?

From Charlotte Osei's response there is a real case of power struggle at the EC and probably, the best solution is for the EC Chair and the fighting commissioners to be removed. EC is too important for those at the helm of affairs to be fighting for control.
