Also it was seen spiritually that some juju from fetish had been planted on the road leading to the uni and thereby the dignitaries were informed few hours prior to the ceremony to refrain from attending.

We must change as Ghanaians as some of our attitude and mindset cost the nation huge sums of money.The culture of having a minister or president and his big entourage attending graduations and congragations must stop. what does a ministers' presence add to your certificate? the vice chancellor to me is bigger when it comes to acedamics than a minister who has been appointed by his political party and might not even have any clue on how to run educational system. Most of the appointments are not purely based on competence but based on who played a vital role during the campaign. I think the appointment of Napo as the substantive minister and his deputy being a professor says it all.Can we say here that Napo is more competent and knows how to run or manage the ministry than the professor. They should henceforth allow the DCE's and the district directors of education to support the vice chancellors to handle the graduations instead of sending ministers to come and waste state resources. In places like UK and US, most times this kind of ceremonies is chaired by the chancellors and the vice chancellors and the governors of the institutions; they most time invite MPs and Ministers who are alumini of those institutions. we should try to move away from those old useless norms or cultures.

in fact the minister can't do the work, his own former school prempeh college ,the science lab have been closed for almost a year by the contractor because they haven't pay for the work done

This confirms NPP has no interest in the good of the Volta Region. They are so tribalistic that they forgot students from all over the country attend that University. Wicked fools!!
