This case of should the EC be impeached or not has a simple solution. Only the law can correctly decide her faith. It is not NPP nor NDC that must determine the EC's faith,otherwise,Nana Akufo-Addo becomes like all talk and no action.
Everybody must be treated equal before the law if Ghana was to work again. If the laws of Ghana does not work then let us say so with a loud voice.

Ghana should not condone crimes, wrong doings and corruption in public places. There is a special investigstion led by fomer FBI Director, Mulleur, to determine if there was an external influence in the 2016 by Putin and Russia. What is wrong with that? The NPP AND NANA Akuffo Addo were given a massive mandate by the reasonable people of Ghana to correct wrongs and stop corruption, galamesey in our society. If the Akuffo Addo government can not effect those changes, the voters will determine whether to maintain NPP or not. Leave the president to do his job. The president has powers to pull the plugs on any public officials who float the constitution up to and including former living presidents. Mahama is again reported to be tearing the constitution by engaging activiely and leading a group of Dubai companies to invest in other African countries, Namibia being one in the news now. Wrong is wrong. Charlotte is not above the laws of Ghana. What was she thinking when she used EOCO to remove her Deputies from office? Could she not have found an alternate means to address the internal problems? Why should NPP protect an alleged criminal EC boss in office? We never heard such crazy stuff when Dr. Afari Gyan was in office, safe the 2012 disputed elections. Nana do your job and do not listen to all familiar faces who favor Charlotte. Nana follow what the law says. NDC appointed Ms Lamptey, but Ndc also impeached her when she was found to have abused her office. Those of you in Npp who fear elections and would want to cover Charlotte Osei's behind, elections will pass you by. Follow the law and do your job, Nana Akuffo Addo. Wimen are their own enemies. She is chopping openingly and yet, Chsrlotte is preventing Deputies from doing same. Does she think the hungary onlookers will keep quiet? Its mere investigation the president is called upon by law to send the case to CJ's ambit. Its allegation, but a serious one as that and Naba must not shierk from doing his duty as the President of the Republic of Ghana. NPP take your pills and keep calm while the president does his job. Nana is above party politics. He is the property of the Repyblic of Ghana and not NPP alone.

The case of Charlotte Osei and her two deputies is a classic case of three thieves exposing themselves as to who stole more on an expedition because of greed,hatred and jealousy. An unrelated case, though, is the reporting of cause of accident recently of Kotoko team. Journalists kept saying a stationary broken down vehicle was responsible for the incidence. This kept the argument of towing company and fee aflame. They disregarded the subsequent information that on the contrary the vehicle ahead of the Kotoko bus was moving, but not broken down.

Based on what the exercise of what constitutional powers are those who asking the President to dismiss the petition without investigation. I think the President should not allow himself to be swayed by unanimous allegations, considering the fact that the EC Chair has responded to refute the allegations to counter alleged against her Deputies,etc.In the first place,it's only an allegation and unanimous.Therefore,it does not necessarily reflect that the President should follow suit to fall into the Trap of the Petitioners without any basis,either than what the Petitioners want, to refer the Case to the AG immediately to determine a prima-facie case of malfeasance for which reason the allegations is designed to achieve. Therefore, the President must take a more pragmatic approach to request for Management Audit including Accounting Transactions mentioned in the allegations,for the Office of the President and the AG to make an informed decisions. In all,this could be done within two or three days to reach the Office of the President latest on the say,7th day or more(b'cos of detail report writing involved). That's the way forward in my personal opinion.Any action to forward the Petition to the AG as it is,short of the above suggestion may cause irreparable damage to the NPP,in my personal opinion. Anyway.

He has no choice at all about it. Not by a long shot! What should Nana be afraid of? Does Nana really think Charlotte can continue to lead the electoral commission? Who didn't see the confusion she created in months leading to the election including when she meanly disqualified many presidential candidates engendering the Supreme Court's intervention in each occasion? She seemed not to know what or who she is. Standing with her church, she was heard praying to God like a Christian, declaring her determination to be fair and square in the conduct of the election. But nothing looked fair to the eyes of an objective observer, making one wonder whether she really feared her God and His Christ. One question that also badgers me is why she did find the need to change the logo. Does the new logo represent anything about Ghana more than the last one? She was just creating an excuse for awarding a contract to dupe poor Ghana - and she got her way. Women, women, women! Too materialistic. You hire a woman and you have to get her a new house, a new car and possibly, a new aircraft! - with apologies to the Chief Justice and the Attorney General. Just imagine the living conditions of most Ghanaians, especially the the farmers and the fishermen and the teachers and the market women whose activities generate the money that drives the economy. Just imagine our children sitting in huts or under trees, schooling. A mad president offers you a job and like the corrupt president, you become blind to the sad conditions of rest of people around you. You think we did not see how close you brought the country into a disaster in how you handled the declaration of the election results. You had to inform your king/master/boy friend Mahama about the result and its unalterable nature and get his acquiescence before you told the nation whom you were supposed to serve. Shame on you! In any sensible country, investigation would have been started long ago over what really happened and you would not be there now. Shameless woman - you and all your feuding team should better resign before you are impeached. Charlotte had thought Mahama the corrupt was going to be there forever. She knew that her tenure as chairperson was directly to attached to Mahama being in office, so why is she still there? She clearly acted on that premise, who can deny it? You can deceive yourself, but you can't deceive God and His Christ.

NPP knows fully well that some beans definitely would be spilled with Charlotte's continue stay in office.

The EC boss is accused by presumed faceless rascals in her office that she has done a few bad things. The boss counters by saying, one of her deputies is not fit for the position she occupies at the institution. And that she does things her way and does not give respect to the head of the Commission. The EC boss further attacks another deputy as being corrupt. That the deputy, personally collected and kept huge sums of monies from political parties in the course of his official duties. More dangerous still, is the accusation that one of the deputies in the imbroglio, illegally transferred votes from the comfort of his office. Ostensibly, to favour a particular political party in the 2016 national elections. Could this arrangement likely also influenced the results of the 2008 and 2012 national elections? Let us downplay the other accusations and counters, from the top officers of this 'hallowed' state institution, for now. Who will fault President Nana Akufo Addo, to simply pass on a petition of such national interest, for due process to take place? At this point, the situation at the EC demands full investigations into the many ills that have come to the public domain. This will ensure that we have an institution which is not propped by propaganda and protected in an ivory case. But stripped of all pretentions. The EC is the last defense of our democracy, we must do all we can to protect it.
