  Sometimes I feel sad when i read stories about poverty and inequality from my northern brothers. They seem to know everything about these 2 important topics but they always fail miserable if they are given the opportunity to help resolve these issues. North and South comparison of same people with senior/mgt positions. The southerners (for now limited to Brongs, Ashantis, Eastern and Western) will invest in (properties, businesses, help relations (trade, vocational jobs, education etc) back in their towns and villages and still live a simple life. What will our brothers from the north do; will never do what their brothers from the south does, love the fame, riches, want their village folks to worship them, will now blame weather in the north to be too deadly and invest in air conditioners in towns down south, love to ride in big govt cars, bungalows and appear on numerous radio and tv stations because their ignorant people back home just love to seen and hear them talking big english. I hope you guys/gals get my drift...... Wise up my northern brothers

Also I don't get your point, do people in the south not have air conditioners, do people in the north not investing? I am not sure the article is trying to blame anybody but stating the facts.

  WHEN EDUCATED CITIZENS OF A COUNTRY DO NOT HAVE TECHNOLOGICAL,INNOVATIVE SKILLS, TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW AND QUALITY SKILLED WORKFORCE TO TURN THE WHEELS OF INDUSTRIALIZATIION, MIDDLE LEVEL DYNAMIC INDUSTRIES,MANUFACTURING FIRMS AND PROCESSNG PLANTS TO PROPEL INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT,ECONOMIC GROWTH AND TO STIMULATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNTIES, INCOME, COMSUMER SPENDING AND QUALITY OF LIFE,THE NATION THEREFORE SINKS TO ECONOMIC BACKWARDNESS,UNDERDEVELOPMENT AND EXTREME POVERTY.
  
  EVEN IF, THERE IS EXTREME INEQUALITY HINDERING EFFORTS TO ALLEVIATE POVERTY, CAN YOU TELL THE DIADVANTAGED AND LESS FORTUNATE IN GHANA WHAT HAVE THESE FOLKS DONE FOR A LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AND FOR THEM TO BE CLASSIFIED AS IMPORTANT IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  DO YOU CONSIDER A POLITICIAN AND A SO CALLED EDUCATED WHO EARNS LESS THAN $200-300 A MONTH AND HAS ILLIGALLY BENEFITED FROM THE CORRUPT SYSTEM, MANIPULATION, EMBEZZLEMENT, STEALING AND LOOOTING OF STATE PROPERTIES TO BUILD HIS OR HER ESTATES,VILLAS, MANSIONS,TAXI SERVICE, HOTELS AND DRINKING BARS AS PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE CONSIDERED LIVING BETTER THAN OTHERS IN THE COUNTRY.
  
  THESE FOLKS YOU NEED TO KNOW, ARE CRIMINAL THIEVES, ROGUES AND CROOKS, THE VERY PEOPLE WHO CONTINUE TO CHEAT AND EXPLOIT THEIR FELLOW CITIZENS IN THEIR LAND OF BIRTH,GHANA AND MOST ESPECIALLY´, THE SEVENTY (70%)PERCENT OF THE POPULATION WHO ARE IN THE RURAL AREAS AND STILL CONTINUE TO LIVE IN HUT AND MUD STRUCTURES STRETCHING BEYOND THE HORIZON, WITHOUT BASC AMENITIES, POTABLE WATER, ENERGY, ROADS, SANITATION,DAYCARES AND LIBRARIES IN THE 21st CENTURY.
  
  PLEAEE, DON'T TRY TO BE SMART WITH SUCH AN IRRATIONAL COMMENT.
  
  GHANA CONTINUE TO RETROGRESS BECAUSE OF CRIMINAL POLITICAL THIEVES IN THE COUNTRY.
