so that the market will cover all the extra traders. The people in Oguaa are traders hence the name Oguaa = market. According to the natives, there are mud zongo houses around the market that Kwame Nkrumah paid the settlers to relocate for the place to be used as business and trading center including markets. They got the money and never relocated The Acheampong regime also paid same people but never moved. What the authorities have to do now, is to enforce the relocation and use the vacant plots to expand the existing market. The whole Kotokuraba area can be trading center serving Western, Ashanti, and Greater Accra regions. This idea was planned by the Great Kwame Nkrumah and nobody followed it up.
