  Corruption has existed since Adam and Eve abused the authority over Eden but when public officers trade serious accusation about the illegal acts, heads must roll. They are sitting atop a rotten tower block that has crumbled. Time to rebuild. It is a lesson for the leadership of Parliament to fix the corruption in the House. Under Mahama Executive and Judiciary were embroiled in gargantuan scandals. The EC has fallen and signs are on the wall that the next expose will be the unparliamentary soli in Parliament.

  Mr Majority leader please talk like a leader and stop justifying corruption of the present with sins of the past. By your thinking , we must excuse the present with past? We can't blame the rot at the EC on Dr Afari Djan. He has done his time , leave him alone. We must fix the rot we find in the present and put in place controls to avoid the rot in the future. We will have no progress as a country if we focus on the sins of our fathers to justify the present! The influence and powers of monarchs and their blood thirsty land grabbing Dukes and Barons were reduced in Europe to usher in what we have adopted as democracy and Americans went to war to abolish human demeaning slavery even though those institutions had been around for centuries? Must we justify vigilantism in Ghana because there was a time it was seen as legitimate in the guise of people Defense committes?
  Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah be careful of what you say about official corruption in our institutions. The people are angry about these corruption revelations and Parliament is not exempt from the perception of rot. Power resides in the bosom of the people not the elected or those who think they are powerful. The dust bins of history are full of past ruling oligarchs who failed to understand this fact and lost their heads
  Come out with ideas and actions that can strengthen our governance institutions to fix this corruption rot in our institutions , and not loose talk about past corruption seemingly making light of current rot.
  The Current EC leadership must be changed if there are evidence of criminality and failures of duty. We are waiting for your positive actions but our patience is not eterna?
