The big question to ask is this If the deputy chair persons can chair such very important meetings making decisions on such large amounts of money and the go ahead and give final approval for disbursement of funds, then what is the role of the chairperson herself. Nothing to do? I think the two deputies have been too long in their positions and should have left when Afari-Dean left. It seems to me that the former chairman had a different management style from what the current chairperson wants to follow. Atari-Djan gave too much power to his deputies who have become used to doing things their own way and so have found the style of Mrs Osei difficult to cope with. The solution is to retire these two. A new chairman will have the same difficulties with these two.
