I have sent a rejoinder to the publishers of Ghanaweb.com. I wish to share the content of the rejoinder with you here.

"Re: Mustapha Hamid to resign?

I write in response to your story of today 25th July 2017 with the above headline. Your story, which is purported to have been culled from the Al-Hajj newspaper, alleges that I plan to resign as Minister for Information and Presidential Spokesperson. This is a figment of the writer's imagination. I have at no time harboured any such thoughts. I am totally happy with my job and I am happy to contribute my quota to the fortunes of the Akufo-Addo government. I serve at the pleasure of the President and until he decides otherwise, I intend to be Minister for Information and Presidential Spokesperson for as long as it takes.

Having said that, it is important to caution about propagating unsourced stories. I thought that a news story is an event that has been enacted. How does a thought (that which is in somebody's mind) constitute a story? I also thought that "there is no art to find the mind's construction on the face." How the Al-Hajj newspaper reads what people have in their minds is baffling.

As for the fabrication about my deputies disrespecting me, it is laughable. I can say with absolute confidence that I am arguably the minister, most respected by his deputies. The camaraderie amongst us is not like anything I have known in my entire life. We have become more than work mates. We are brothers and sister to one another. You will recall that at the recent National Policy Summit, I said publicly that I have very wonderful deputies and expressed my indebtedness to the President for giving me such wonderful deputies.

I hope this sets the record straight and sets the hearts of my well wishers at ease.

NDC thieves are the reason why black Africans are incessantly insinuated by Donald Trump. Why did NDC party give this money to Woyome who was not a government employee nor had a contractor? The reason was to loot and steal. NDC is a wicked party indeed.

Black African politicians like NDC thieves and looters allow Donald Trump to insult and denigrate black Africans all the time. There is a truth in what the US president, Donald Trumps says about black Africans.

These were comments Donald Trump made about black Africans yesterday in Nebraska.

Trump was responding to a question by a South African journalist on whether he thinks African leaders were right to seek mass withdrawal from the Hague based International Criminal Court.

It is shameful for African leaders to seek exit from ICC. In my views, these African want to have all the freedom to oppress their own poor people without anyone asking them a question. I think there is no shortcut to maturity and in my views Africans should be recolonized because Africans are still under slavery. Look at how those African leaders change constitutions in their favor so that they can be life presidents. They are all greedy and do not care about the common people" said Donald Trump.

When I saw them gang up against ICC yet they can't even find an amicable solution for the ongoing quandary in Burundi, I thought to myself these people lack discipline and humane heart.They can't lead by example. The only thing they are interested in is accumulating wealth from poor tax payers. Before they think of exiting from ICC, they should first restore peace in Burundi and other war from countries rather than gathering like hyenas with the aim of finishing the poor people" Added Trump.

It is a shame the extent NDC thieves and looters have stolen from Ghana's treasury. We must blame JJ Rawlings, the gang leader who stole power to destroy Ghana, yet he blames others for Ghana's economic and political woes.

What good should we expect from from a department where the Boss and her deputies are not on speaking terms?
Yes, some yet to be identified faces filed the initial allegations. However, Charlotte has confirmed that what they were saying were all true: just that her deputies must be held responsible for the rot rather than her good self.
So, Bature, you should realise that it is not the NPP instigating the rot. Nor is it the NPP who raised the alarm. Charlotte and the people she is overseeing at the commission are the source of the information coming into the public domain.
Most importnt of all, the current president would have to take the blame for any repurcussions of the present predicament at the EC if he fails to take action to restore order at the commission. If a course of the action to restore sanity at the place involves the removal of Charlotte and/or her deputies, so be it: Bature, the NDC and their stooges can go to hell for all we care.

Indeed, it is an irrelevant issue with regards to the institution of the EC, and it's responsibility as the body tasked with ensuring credible elections in the country. Those issues do not matter, but some perceived ouster by the NPP is the overarching goal.
Well, folks, there you have it. The reason why Ghana is in the state it finds itself, and exactly why, Ghana under Mahama, presided over the wholesale institutionalization of rottenness across the length and breadth of this country.
We cannot have that, can we??? Yes, you guessed right. It is a RESOUNDING DEAFENING BIG, B.I.G NO!!!. Charlotte Osei has not managed to disprove the allegations hanging around her neck, except to counter with her own allegations to justify why things are the way they are at the EC.
Ghana, Ghanaians and the NPP cannot and will not accept that status quo of malfeasance and rottenness, most especially at the Electoral Commission. The EC Boss therefore, gotta GO.

I leader must find a smart way to work with people-even the most difficult people to work with. You dont control and take unilateral decisions and later on inform your deputies. These does not make you a good leader. The 6 other deputies were appointed to assist in decision making. People always resist change-especially where they work or reside in a place for a long time. So, you must work together with them to bring the change you want. And this takes time.

The about of the aligation is not the real fact that they should stop the EC Boss for her a work, the fact in is since she Electoral commssion boss have a way there is a book to sign befor her depature for the referance about her absent and again ,Madam Opoku Goergina and that others have to known that they have the fault ,the faulted is they have to to take the report that which seems they EC BOSS is makeing an aligation to let the ndc to win the and that is the fact since they did not inform that statement to the people of ghana as gorvnment to hearing it then it is a fault of them so they should have to drive this matters out and put outside by the SC and the CJ of the Land!,so that the peace moveing in our ghana country and its mataining so we pray that in the way that then the electting the President is a fualt in that election on 2016 presidencial election ,if was not ogarnise within them then have to know and sittle do there works ,the couasing ploblem the EC boss must to change him or her,that duputy ec boss have to be changing immedialty with out delying and there is nothing that they to let them go leave befor looking there matters the matters clare that there is not all the time that the ec boss have to let you know the metings she have she comes she can let you have metings with you,nothing is late that you can not solve the ploblem of you,the real point is how sign the contract which is not the way she have to sign by the Madam Goergina opoku Amankwaa, and that is the real fualt of her ,she suppose to let the boss of her to know it and she could'nt did that so if she is becomes on becoming then on that commissional point then it is a fact that she did not did her work of her done as well and not that she have to ogarnised some groups to remove the Electoral commission chair person for herpost, when we read the fact in the statement that seems Mr. Brobbey not to bee in with the group to terminate the post of Madam Charllote Osei ,s post of work in her commission and that is not the rigth inclouding with those in with Madam Geogina Opoku ,s and coo !,its can not be possible and if the president termt to sact the EC boss as like that will never seems clean and clare and the point there is how the npp members as the wining party will involving inn to brings that disterbances to cuase the ploble which is not the fact that we need at this time as we are look the devollopment in the country ghana, it is a very well trap to the gorvnment of Mr. Akoffu Addo so Mr.Akuffu Addo have noway to sack the commisioner Electoral from her office as that,the must to let her continue works her work ass the EC boss and gather with them wih the clean work but that Madam Geogina must to be changing from the electoral commission post so that the peace will bee at there peaceful,we need the peace councel have to know that that one of them must to be separating from the commission electoral and that is the Mrs Opoku Geogina and let THE CHAIRPERSON TO DO HER WORK AS WELL IN THE NAME OF GOD Almigthy .Is simply Madam Geogena have to let what was about he wrong must to be repport to the gorvnment and its peoples in the country and again fualt of signed the contract to that person without inform the Electoral commission's Chairperson of what she have done, so the the fualt is realy her ,she have to change immediatly and let her know from the commssion and that is what we need the peaceful and the moving God bless you and let the SC and CJ have to to know that and we hope Mr.Rev Asante will understand that this part of the message and the President of republic of ghana as well ,God bless you all and oman ghana and forward ever!!.
