In football we would say she has lost dressing room.If you are the head of an institution and your subordinates are doing as they please behind your back or vice versa then there is a big problem. It definitely means there are serious issues. Why do people keep on bringing on Nana Addo. Did he create the rift. Of course not . Think Ghana and not NDC or NPP. Or EC has been lauded all over the continent and you think Nana wants to erode it. Let there be an investigation then we will see who erred. How can the EC chair come and say in there budget 2m not being in there was an oversight.

Now assuming the charges and the counter charges going on between the top officials at the EC,no action should be taken,just because the chairperson was appointed by the NDC?
Even if no abuse is found in any investigations again the top four officials at the EC,how are they going to work together again as a team?
They don't trust each other,they should be all replaced.
For the sake of Ghana,for once,let's stop this NPP/NDC thing and do the right thing.

I very strongly doubt if the NDC kingpins and for that matter, the minority in Parliament ever took the trouble to study carefully the petition from the petitioners as well as the response from the EC chair.
Clearly, a close look at the above mentioned documents, one can right away smell stinky odour emenating from the entire Electoral Commission.
It is unfortunate that people are not looking at the issue objectively but with eyes behind covered lens darkened with parochial colours
This particular case should not be painted with any party colours. It is important for people to know and feel that the EC's issue has the tendency of destroying the hard won reputation of Ghana.
It is therefore good that the President has referred the matter to the CJ for consideration and necessary and appropriate action. Let us wait patiently the outcome of the case before the CJ.

When his punishment came, and the analysis was done, Ghana had experienced the worst growth in over 2 decades, up to the eyeballs in debt, over 70% debt-to-GDP ratio, massive unemployment etc, etc meanwhile he was still locked in, in those activities which had brought Ghana to those unpardonable statistics, with his last coup de grâce being the stealing of a Presidential villa.
Is that what Allotey is saying Ghana and Ghanaians should entertain in this country?.
If that is what Allotey is suggesting, then let the demonstration come, Ghana and Ghanaians will be on the right side of the argument and history, forever.
