Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila will join Al Qadsia pre-season camp on Thursday after recovering from a minor knock.
Sumaila, 24, picked up an ankle injury in Black Stars 2-1 loss friendly to the Yanks of USA last month after clashing with United States winger Tom Dwyer just 30 minutes on the clock.
However, the former Mamelodi Sundowns guardsman returned to full-scale training two-weeks after and has been maintaining his fitness ever since, and is 100 per cent ready for action once again as he checks in for business with his teammates for the start of their gruelling pre-season schedule.
He will depart to Kuwait on Thursday to prepare the team to embark on a pre-season tour to Turkey on Saturday.
Sumaila spent last season on loan at Qatari side Al Gharafa and quickly became a mainstay of the side following his all action display, where he scored four goals in 21 appearances.
