Dutch-born Ghanaian international Emanuel Boateng has undergone successful operation after suffering meniscal injury.
Boateng began his SS Lazio Primavera campaign unluckily after suffering a meniscus tear on his right knee.
The young centre-back went under the knife at the Paideia Clinic by Dr. Fabio Rodia.
The former FC Dordrecht 99 youth player is likely to return to full fitness in a month's time.
Boateng is likely to miss Lazio’s Serie A opener against Chievo Verona on 9 September.
