Bundesliga side Schalke are ready to sign Ghana defender Abdul Rahman Baba on loan.
The Chelsea lateral defender just recovered from a knee injury which has kept him out for the whole of 2017 but the German club are ready to grab him this winter.
Baba until his injury was on loan at Schalke where he put up great performances including scoring in their Europa League game against Nice in France.
According to Fussball Transfers, the Gelsinkirchen club want Baba in their fold again but will wait until the middle of January before they make a bid.
Schalke who are second on the Bundesliga log are on the market looking for a left-back after selling Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac to Arsenal.
Galatasary, Fenerbahce, Everton, Aston Villa and Bournemouth are also interested in Baba.
