Kwadwo Asamoah has hailed Juventus' team spirit after their 2-1 comeback win over Tottenham Hotspur in Wednesday's Uefa Champions League tie.
Following a disappointing 2-2 draw in the first leg, Massimiliano Allegri's men fought back from a goal behind at Wembley to secure a 4-3 aggregate win and, thus, progress to the last-eight of the competition.
After trailing for almost half an hour, the Ghana international and Stephan Lichtsteiner were introduced for Blaise Matuidi and Medhi Benatia; a tactical switch that changed the complexion of the tie in their favour.
The visitors got the goals that saw them progress through Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in the 64th and 67th minutes which cancelled out Son Heung-min’s 39th-minute opener.
And Asamoah has praised his teammates for their resilience.
"We never gave up and fought together as a great team," Asamoah wrote on Instagram.
"We thank God for this great victory. Well done guys let’s keep fighting together till the end."
