Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has welcomed new team mate Thomas Lemar.
The Ghana midfielder says he is content with the competition the French man will provide for him in the club this campaign.
Lemar joined the Rojiblanco from French giants AS Monaco in the ongoing summer transfer window.
"Competition within a team is normal, as it always is. What you must do is concentrate and continue playing as a team to fight for titles," he said.
"It is also very important that there are players coming from the youth system, it isn't easy to do that.
"They serve as the perfect example for other young people who want to become like them."
