Ghanaian duo Joseph Aidoo and Joseph Paintsil helped KRC Genk progress to the Europa League group stage after beating Brondby in the final phase of the qualifiers.
Aidoo was an unused substitute as Genk qualified ahead of Brondby IF in a 13-goal thriller.
Genk earned a 2-4 second leg win to compliment their first leg home triumph.
Joseph Aidoo’s compatriot and former Tema Youth prospect, Joseph Paintsil, came off the bench after the hour mark for the Belgians in the goal feast as they secured their place in the group stages awaiting Friday’s draw.
