Ghana internationals Kwadwo Asamoah and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom suffered elimination from the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Kwadwo Asamoah lasted 66 minutes for Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza when they failed to beat Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in a 1-1 drawn game.
Inter’s elimination was sealed when English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur fought bravely to snatch a point at Barcelona in a game that ended 1-1 at the Camp Nou.
Despite finishing on 8 points apiece the Nerazzurris suffered their elimination due to Spurs’ superior goal aggregate.
Meanwhile Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was introduced in the 72nd minute by Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade as Paris Saint-Germain battered them 4-1.
Edson Cavani, Neymar, Marquinhos and Kylian Mbappe all got on the tally for the French moneybags.
