Kevin-Prince Boateng would accept a return to AC Milan, according to Calciomercato.
The 31-year-old is enjoying a fabulous campaign with Sassuolo since joining from German outfit Eintracht-Frankfurt.
The Ghanaian enjoyed two previous spells with Italian giants AC Milan, the first of which led to a Serie A title in 2011.
Now Calciomercato is reporting the former Schalke star would accept a return to the Rossoneri.
Boateng joined Milan in 2010, playing a key role in their Scudetto triumph in that season.
He left after three years but later returned in 2016.
However, he endured a difficult second spell and that led to the club releasing him at the end of the season.
The Rossoneri sit fifth in Serie A after 19 games, just a point behind fourth-placed Lazio amid a close battle to secure a Champions League qualification spot.
However, they’ve had to deal with an injury crisis hitting them in defence and midfield in recent months, leaving Gattuso short of quality options.
