Ghana striker, David Accam was on the scoresheet on Tuesday night as Philadelphia Union defeated Birmingham Legion by three goals to one in a pre-season friendly.
The game was used by both clubs to assess their team ahead of the new MLS and USL season respectively.
Chandler Hoffman opened the scoring for Birmingham in the 7th minute before Ilsinho and Przybylko scored in the 14th and 72nd minute respectively for Philadelphia Union.
Accam netted Philadelphia Union’s third goal late in the 85th minute after turning his marker inside out in the penalty box.
The win is Philadelphia Union’s first in the off season so far.
