The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) will on Saturday, April 27, 2019, energize the Kintampo-Bolgatanga section of the 330kv Kumasi-Bolgatanga Transmission Line project.
Announcing this in a press statement on Friday, GRIDCo explained that the line being energized meant that live electricity would run through the lines for the first time.
Residents along the transmission line have therefore been advised to take note that from Saturday the line would have power in it.
GRIDCo also urged them to stay away from all transmission facilities including pylons along the corridor.
"Any unauthorised contact with the facilities could compromise the safety and life of such persons".
GRIDCo therefore appealed to residents to fully cooperate with them to enable them serve the communities better.
