Top foam mattress and rubber products manufacturers, Latex foam has once again carved a remarkable niche in the manufacturing industry, having been embossed with another seal of brand excellence for 2019.
The company which achieved a Superbrands status in 2012 following its recognition by the Superbrands Council in Ghana has again been awarded for their innovation, customer satisfaction, loyalty, brand performance and overall market acceptance.
At a presentation of award at the Latex foam Head Quarters in Accra, June 28, 2019, the CEO of African Brands Warrior, Fatima Alimohammed said the seal of excellence is based on research and not just mere hear-say or consideration.
As part of the award selection process and credibility, Fatima Alimohammed explained that “The best way of ensuring the authenticity and credibility of any award that you give is that you must have research. We got in touch with three research agencies in Ghana, we then eventually awarded the research to Nielsen – an international research agency…So we went in for sectors like the banking sector, presidential projects, we checked stuff like mattresses, beverages, schools…”.
“…when we came to latex foam and we look at the mattress sector, we went and again did the research which was conducted on three fundamental questions. 1. Which brand have you always been using, 2. Which brand would you consider a Superbrand and 3. Why…” she noted.
According to her, recognizing brands for their innovation and overall performance based on research helps separate best performing brands from those that are but a shadow of their competitors.
Receiving the award on behalf of Latex foam rubber product ltd, the Public Relations Officer, Gifty Appiah expressed her delight with the new height achieved by the company.
“This will be our second year running. In 2012 we received this award and in 2019 we are here again. So for us, it’s only a testament of the good work that I believe is being done on our premises, we’re very grateful…” She said.
This latest achievement by latex foam rubber product limited has added to the company’s haul of many awards which include Gold Award by the Arch of Europe Gold, Silver awards in the export sector by the Ghana Exports Promotions Authority, International Superbrands awards, among several others.
