Ghana winger Frank Acheampong was the star of the show as Tianjin Teda drew 3-3 at home with Emmanuel Boateng’s Dalian Yifang in the Chinese Super League.
The 25-year-old scored twice and set up another but it was enough to give his side all three points.
The visitors took a 26th-minute lead through Yannick Carrasco but Tianjin drew level a few minutes later courtesy of a Sandro Wanger strike that was set up by Acheampong.
Acheampong registered his name on the scoresheet in the 34th minute to put his side in front but Carrasco again scored just after the break to restore parity.
The Ghanaian international grabbed his brace in the 70th minute to give the hosts the lead after converting from the spot-kick.
Just when Tianjin thought they could walk away with the maximum point, Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon scored for Dalian to ensure both sides shared the spoils.
