Ghanaian striker John Antwi bagged a brace for Pyramids FC as they defeated Haras El-Hodood 2-0 on Friday in the Egyptian Cup quarter-final fixture.
Pyramids FC took the lead courtesy Antwi’s strike from a spot-kick early on in the second half of the game.
Three minutes into the second half, Pyramids won a penalty kick and the 27-year-old elected himself to put the ball at the back of the net.
The former Ismaily goal poacher scored his second goal in the 70th minute after he thumped in a belter past goalkeeper Ahmed El-Saadany.
Following the victory, Pyramids will face Petrojet SC in the semi-final.
