John Jinapor has suggested that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has intercepted some secret information that can make the ruling government unpopular.
“The meetings that have been held at Senchi and so on…Whatsapp messages, voice recordings and information we have had; sometimes because of the love for the nation, we keep quiet…things have really gone on…As for 2020, it’s a foregone conclusion for John Mahama by God’s grace” he said on UTV.
When asked if what he is saying isn't a political talk just to denigrate his opponent, Mr Jinapor insisted that what the NDC has on the NPP is unpleasant.
"All we need is they position Ghana in a way when President Mahama takes over on January 7, 2021, we can still continue to grow this country," he added.
Speaking on the PDS termination, the Member of Parliament pleaded with the government not to consider bringing out any private sector information for it won't help the country in any way.
However, he suggested the government should rather consider building consensus with Ghanaians.
"There should be more consultation in other to determine the way forward for the energy sector," he stressed.
