He looked nice and sincere, seemed pretty interested in her life goals and was supportive and prayerful; what else should stop her, she thought.

She took a chance on what she thought was love, gave it her best shot, even sold her 295,000 Canadian dollar-house in her home at Nova Scotia to come down and live with the love of her life.

But an actual 'devil' in human form was who she met instead.

She was beaten and slapped during sex, chased around the house, extorted, defrauded, and left to 'die'.
