Over 500 customers of embattled gold dealership firm, Menzgold are heading towards the house of the company's CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah to demand payment of their locked up funds.
The aggrieved customers who converged at Shiashie Wednesday morning, came from different parts of the country to join two VIP buses and a minibus which have been rented for the mission.
The move follows an announcement by management of the company that it had begun paying customers on December 27, 2019, but many claim they have not received any payment.
One customer, Ahmed Obeng, speaking with GhanaWeb said, "I want Nam1 to know that he can run but he can't hide, if he wants to live long in this world he should come out and pay us our monies, the lies are too much, None of us here have been paid, we want him to know that we're suffering, for us to think and die he should know that we will die with him, we are not fools and he's not fast."
Many agitated customers who expressed their sentiments said they had lost their means of livelihood and even the lives of their loved ones after they invested huge sums into Menzgold.
