17-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, Brain Oddei, last Sunday registered his eighth and ninth assist of the season for Sassuolo when they hosted Genoa at home.
In an intense pulsating game at the Mapei grounds, Genoa took the lead in the 24th minute through forward Flavio Bianchi, only for Sassuolo to draw level after Brain assisted Federico Artioli six minutes later.
Brian was also involved in the third goal for the Neroverdi as his pass into Genoa’s half resulted in a penalty kick after his teammate Jacopo Pellegrini fouled in the 18-yard box.
The attacking midfielder has now been involved in 12 goals in 17 games for Sassuolo - nine assists and three goals.
