Ghana forward Jordan Ayew fulfilled an eight-year-old Crystal Palaces fan's birthday wish after accepting the boy's parent request to wish the young fan on his birthday.
The eight-year-old Jake Richardson will be celebrating his birthday today, full of joy after his hero's wish.
Jordan Ayew has become a cult hero for many Crystal Palace fans including Jake, following his outstanding performances for the club this season.
" Jordan Ayew, any chance you could wish my son Jake a happy 8th Birthday tomorrow. Jake’s a season ticket holder and you’re his favourite player. It would be amazing if you could send him a message. Thanks," Jakes father Craig posted on Twiter.
Before the Ghanaian replied with,"Happy 8th Birthday to my friend Jake! I hope you have a great day & hope to see you back at Selhurst Park soon."
The English Premier League has been suspended until further notice due to the coronavirus.
