Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan is delighted with the arrest of Minnesota cop Derek Chauvin who has been charged with murder in George Floyd’s death.
George Floyd, a Black American was subjected to some inhumane arrest by four police officers where he later passed on at the hospital in police custody.
Police officer Chauvin was seen in a video placing his left-knee in the area of Floyd’s head and neck while he was pinned to the ground.
Floyd could be heard repeatedly saying “I can’t breathe” as well as “mama” and “please”. The officers, however, stayed in their position.
Floyd later died in police custody which sparked protests leading to riots in the states.
There has been a lot of calls for justice to prevail as the Police officers involved in the incident have been fired.
Asamoah Gyan in a post on his official page reported the arrest of Derek Chauvin and was delighted the cop has been charged with third-degree murder.
"Good news. Kwasia like that. But I heard he was charged with 3rd degree murder. For me its not enough. Wicked Evil so called cop. Mtchewww."
